TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY FOR SCOTLAND'S SECRET BUNKER ATTRACTION

Celebrations as Scotland's Secret Bunker re-opens after upgrades are completed for 20th Anniversary.

The Bunker became operation 61 years ago, originally opened as a tourist attraction in 1994 after being purchased in 1993.

It is now believed to be one of the most popular tourist destinations in North East Fife and welcomes tens of thousands of tourists every year.

The latest upgrades alllow visitors access to never-before-seen areas. 

S4M-10114 Roderick Campbell expressed that he considers it fortunate that the bunker is now used for tourism and thankful that it’s use as an active nuclear shelter was never required. He congratulated the Bunker’s owners on providing what he considers to be an excellent education resources and hopes it will allow future generations to learn about The Cold War.
