Accessibility

Over the years we have endeavoured to find a viable way in improve access for visitors with disabilities. However none have met the requirements of the regulatory authorities such as the Health and Safety Executive or the Fire Service.

We have one flight of 16 stairs to the main tunnel and, to gain access to the lower level of the bunker, a further flight of 24 stairs.

If you are able to manage the stairs we are happy to assist you where possible and have two wheelchairs for use on each level of the bunker. There is no lift access to the bunker or within the bunker.

The bunker is, therefore, exempt from current access legislation.

For further information, and any suggestions as to how access could be improved, please don't hesitate to call us on 01333 310301.
